The short bed is not available on the AC...if you mean a 5 ft bed.

Double Cab Short Bed = 5ft Bed
Double Cab Long Bed = 6ft Bed
    Access Cab = 6ft Bed

I think the SB looks better. But I bought the LB due to needs.

    short.

not once have I thought to myself that I am glad I have the dbl cab over the access cab. the AC would have been fine.

about once a month I wish I had the long bed. But I am always glad to have the trd offroad :D

long bed, i couldnt fit an atv in a 5' bed, at the time i was also planning on camping in the bed so 6' was the minimum. plus i didnt want the double cab so 6' was the only option anyways.

Also, with tailgate down and bed extender, it's a little over 6'...

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    Short, for more manuverability.

I have had both. If I had one truck I probably would have stayed with the long box. Since I have a full size long box the short box works better for my needs, also the off-road package only comes for a dbl cab in the short box.

I couldnt imagine havin a short bed as much as I use mine. I chose long bed just cuz I need the extra foot.

I personally HATE the look of the short box, it looks like the truck was choped. I would have never considred the Taco if the long box was on an option on the DC.

after having my short bed for 6 months and 11K miles, I can say that I don't regret getting it. Very easy to park and maneuver compared to the longer bed.

Holds my conduit just fine and carried a 32' extension ladder today without any issues.

All my tools fit in the bed and anything that won't fit wouldn't fit any better in a 6' bed anyways.

I think the double cab long bed looks the best, but they don't have the O/R edition of it, and it would be more of a pain to parallel park.

I've got a long bed but if I get another truck it will be the short bed. mostly for better manuverability, easier parking.

Short box is wayyyyyyyyyyy too short. Long box in a tacoma is a regular box in any other vehicle. I've hauled tons of furniture that woul dhave never fit in a short box.

Like what? I'm curious! I hauled 2 couches this weekend. No they didn't fit, yes they hung over the tailgate, and no I did not have any problems getting them home. :D First one sat on the tailgate without being tied down, second one hung over a couple feet because of the lawn roller I put in the bed first, but 2 ratchet straps later and it was solid.

I also moved everything in my apartment to my house with my SB, and my father in law's Chevy with a cap. Everything tall went in my truck. I still haven't found a piece of furniture that needed more than 6ft of bed space for support. :D

I personally went for a Long Bed. A truck with a 5 foot bed is like a woman without a...

I don't haul a lot, but when I want to, I know I'd be kicking myself in the ass for not getting a long bed. I like the look to. Looks like a real truck with a real bed thats not just used for hauling groceries.
