I've owned both, a DCLB and a DCSB. Looking back, I've actually owned (5) Tacoma's. The two in comparison were 2008 models, both Sports with non functioning hood "skewps", and my personal preference was the LB. It plain rode better and its bed was actually functional, unlike the motorized wheelbarrow bed they made the DCSB into. Flame if you must, but that's just the way it is. Or was, seeing I have Access cab again. Still a LB! HA!

There is no right answer to this question, it's on the needs of the user.

I do love my longbed, but damn, not for wheelin'.

Actually, it might be a tarp, which in turn could be used to hide a trap.

Unless you have a short bed, in which case the trap wont fit and the tarp hangs ove the edge.

who needs a long bed? short bed does everything i need it to... especially with the tail gate down if need be (have a bed extender for that).

i've only needed to leave the gate down twice... and prob would've in a long bed anyway. it's nice not driving the station wagon that is a double cab long bed :)

    DCSB doin work.
