Yeah, you and every other shortbed owner.

    "Hey, killer trailer man!"
"Yeah, I bought it to put my stuff in because my lunch box bed can't fit shit."
    "Cool bro!"

I love the long bed. It look more proportionate with the truck. I bought the short bed because I don't haul a lot of stuffs in the back. Plus, I need a little garage space for my motorcycle.

At least you're not in denial like the rest. Nice to see there are some honest shortbed owners out there.

x2. Tailgate would have to be down in a long bed too. I would know since I've owned a long bed and now have a short bed and had to have the tailgate down on both for my dirt bike.

It looks like the bike is bigger than the truck... Oh wait, it is!

    DCLB > than SB.

I had a long bed and I had to keep the tailgate down on it to haul my dirt bike. My dirt bike is shorter than that motorcycle. So that can't be a short bed "fail." That should be a win because that's a big load for any kind of tacoma bed.

One good bump and "SNAP" goes the tailgate! Haha

Don't get mad at everyone else because you got rid of your LB and made the mistake of buying a SB.

I got rid of it because I wanted a DC, but didn't like the look of the LB. I like them, but wasn't my taste. The SB suits my needs anyway. And how in the hell would a tailgate snap on a bump? I have to take an hour drive off road to go to where I ride. Tons of bumps and pot holes. My tailgate is still there. I don't see why you're so serious about short beds being horrible. You monitor this thread and say nonsense shit about a short bed because you have a long bed. Don't start crap and attack people who have them. I like both. It's a damn truck, not a life or death situation like you think it is.

Really? I even had mine diagonal  Maybe mine was 5'11" lol

Edit: Oh, and you know that motorcycle is longer than a dirt bike. You can't tell me that bike would fit in a long bed with the tailgate up. There's no way.

Yeah it fits fine diagonal with some room to spare, 250 SX. Yeah it is definitely longer but I bet it'd go if you let some air out of the tires. 92.7" overall length for a Shadow, my bed measures about 93" on the diagonal.:D

Interesting. Mine is a 250 too. Maybe I had something wrong. Lol. Oh well. And what about whats behind the tire on the motorcycle? What it clear the tailgate?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
well for the going argument, even if the gate was down on both trucks, there is more leverage on the SB tailgate.

I would say that guys pretty brave, that is a heavy bike for the gate.
