Thanks for the guide, it was a piece of cake to install! Saved me $150 the dealer wanted to install it and took me about an hour.

The scariest part was ripping the channel molding off on a 2 week old truck lol

i installed my rack today, and man was it a PITA on the driver's side. Passenger side fit nice, everything lined up well and threaded easily. On the passenger side, I had to awl away a fair amount of material (which the directions actually said to do) to expose the thread holes on the front mounting bracket. There's at least a 1/4" gap near the front, and I imagine I'll have to uninstall the driver's side rack and bend the front mounting bracket forward to flush it up. If only I was able to realize these manufacturer issues before I attempted the install. For what it's worth, I ordered the rack from Toyota of Torrance, CA.

In case someone is installing these to hold a Thule Roof Box the spread on these bars is 43 inches and Thule boxes (at least what I have Atlantis 1600) have approx max of 36 inches. I just figured this out....

I wish canadian dealers would sell them that cheap. Minimum up here is $410 plus tax.

Joining the OEM roof rack club! Thanks to the OP of four years ago, he sure made it look easy.

    20151015_113614.jpg
I had issues with the driver's side front bracket. The bolt holes in the bracket would not line up with the threads in the roof. I ended up elongating one of the holes with my Dremel to avoid cross threading the bolt.

No gaps anywhere, and no other complications. It's an easy mod, and looks good!

Oh, and the directions do confirm a 100 lb weight limit. Overall, I'm happy! :)
