    i say remove the shield and bull bar!, truck looks really clean without them both, but remeber dude its your truck if you like it F@#K what everybody else says! hope this helps:D

    I bought the same bug shield and liked it, but decided the truck just looked better without it, especially after installing the color matched grille. I say remove it.

    2001 with; cat-back side-swept twin exhaust, elbow mod, Westin bullbar with Hella 450 driving lights, Snugtop XTR camper shell, TRD off-road 2x4-black beauty.
    the bugshield provides an "eyebrow" (read unibrow) to the overall "bulldog's mug" look caused by the bullbar, which is the bulldog's "chin" Remove it and the bullbar looks gumby. So if ya remove it they both gotta go IMO

    I took mine off after it had been on for 4 years.. The amount of damage the clips made was really bad. I have to imagine they caused more damage than any rock chips the bug shield could have prevented.

    With that said, I would say, if you are not crazy about the looks, I would take it off.

    +1. I got my truck with 10K and a bug shield. Took it off and glad I did as I think it was going to do more damage than any bugs. I live mine better without it. Yours doesn't look bad with it since the colors are dark and blend together.

    thanks for the feedback. I think it takes away from the hood scoop. leaning toward taking it off. step bars are stock.

    no bug guard....i've used 'em before and they trap dirt and eat away your paint.
