Pyrite mica hides scratches and dents really well or it seems to on my truck.

While I havn't taken mine off road much at all, I like Pyrite Mica. I thought it would show scratches but it doesn't. The Pyrite Mica looks amazing in the sun too in my opinion, it's a unique color.
Here's some pics of mine back in the woods and on a recent camping trip.

In the first pic the truck hasn't been washed in at least 3 months...lazy.

Go with whatever your going to be happy with long term. You have to live with it.

I owned plenty of silver trucks before and its a great color, just was tired of silver and there are plenty of silver trucks on the road..... Saw the Pyrite Mica and liked the way it pops in the sun! So went with Pyrite and glad I did, love it. I can't speak for it hiding scratches better or worse than other colors, don't have any yet.

Here is pic last winter just after I picked it up from the dealer. The sun loves Pyrite Mica.

Although I don't have any scratches on mine, Pyrite certainly hides dirt really well and it does look great in daylight.

I would think that the Pyrite Mica would make scratches more obvious than the Silver Streak since its darker...FWIW, I have a BSP taco and I have one scratch that I know of so far and that little inch long sucker is REALLY eye-catching...however on my silver 4Runner you would really have to look hard to see any of the scratches.

I love the new Py color (would have bought it if they had it back in 06) but my silver taco hides dirt and scratches really well.
