    Okay, I've search and am still not satisfied with my results. We kind of touched on this subject yesterday, but didn't get an direct answer to this particular question.

    After our next snowstorm, I plan on doing some trials on my own on this but would love some input before hand.

    For this situation, assume you can't or don't want to go into 4Hi or 4Lo for whatever reason. (missing prop shaft, for example).

    Is the Auto LSD 2HI mode going to give you better control, steering, traction, etc... then the regular VSC mode? If so, what are the drawbacks? or put differently, why wouldn't you want be in Auto LSD full time?
