well, i like an a.r.e. LS III or something like that,( that includes a wind, looks awsome)...but the first thing is that must have a lock, because we need to save there tools and stuff like that to work with .

I have an Undercover hard tonneau, $599 + shipping from Autoanything.
It attaches pretty easy to the multi-track system in the bed. It's made of the same material as the bed liner and rail caps so it blends in nicely and fits well.
    Check my gallery for pics.

they all have locks for the most part, but i have to say the reason I didn't get the Leer was because of the locking system(cable) which is not the most secure. Now for price, 800-1200 is about the range you can expect, i think undercover is about the cheapest i found, about 700 .

The Undercover was the cheapest hard cover I had seen. It's pretty well made and should prove quite durable.
I like the fact that it's made of ABS plastic. It's strong / solid, but has the appearance similar to a soft tonneau. I don't have to worry about paint fading, just some Armor all once in a while.
It's not smooth like fiberglass and wouldn't look good painted, IMO.

Mine is a Bakflip. i like the fact i can have the whole bed if i need to by just flipping it up and up against the back window. but for this you need a tailgate lock like a pop&lock like i have. the bakflip locks with two keyless locks on each side of each panel. the only way to open it is to open the tailgate and there is a pull cable on each panel. its is pretty sturdy. paid $500 even free ship brand new on ebay. i also like the fact it is flush with the bed

Did you have to drill any rain water weep holes for this? Is this the Gen 2 model? $500 is darn cheap.

The lowest I've seen is $746 from Autoanything. Wow ! I want one !

yeh its a G2 bakflip. check this out man, i started to drill the drain holes after a week of deciding. i drilled the rightside but my bit wasn't wide enough so i went to home depot. there if found sprinkler adapters that fit the 1inch drain tubes and converts them in 1/4inch on the other end. it fits perfectly in the stock drain hole in the bed. i bought one of those only $2.77 and bought another one with a larger end because of the other side where i started to drill. they work great.

check out this guy on ebay. that where i got mine using the "best offer" option. free ship and it was fast. he is in indiana and i live in southern cali and i got it in less than a week.
