Popping noise going over bumps?

Hey guys,
So I'm new to TW, and have a question. I have about 2,300 miles on my 2010 DCLB Sport, and I have noticed that going over speed bumps or other rought terrain a popping noise has developed as soon as I start to go over the bump. It sounds like it is coming from the front passenger side wheel/suspension area. It makes the noise going over just about anything over 1 or 2 inches in height at just about any speed. I don't know much about suspension tech, so any thoughts? Should I go ahead and take it to the dealership so they can tell me everything is normal? Thanks.

 

Dose it make the noise if you apply slight brake pressure while going over these bumps?

 

Probably just a bad sway bar link. But on a 2010 why not just bring it back to the dealer?

 

it makes the noise regardless of brake pressure. and I will take it to the dealer, but it's just such a hassle sometimes...

 

Is the speed bump steep enough that the front mud flap hits the speed bump?

 

no, the road i live on has a bunch of speed "humps" which are not as steep and are longer than speed "bumps." this is why it is bothering me because I have to travel over 11 of them when I leave my house everyday. Thus the noise is quite noticeable to me. It also seems the noise has developed with the drop in temps, but that may just be a coincidence.
