Just installed my Scangauge and it says MPH is 43 vs speedo at 45. Since they are both reading from the computer, why would it be off and which one is correct?

From the factory your speedo is set 2-3 mph higher. The s/g is correct.:)

My scangauge does the same thing....2mph off.

The scangauge is accurate to my GPS.

Although they're both reading off the computer... I'm assuming the needle placement just isn't correct.

Yeah- Scanguage is correct. The factory has "tolerances" and as long as the speedo is within them...in the truck it goes and it gets shipped. You can get it calibrated usually.

If you have a GPS, you can find out which one is accurate...

But it seems like others have done that test and the scanguage wins.
