    what does vvti mean and is every motor a vvti any help thanks just curious

    Not the SAME as VTEC. VVTi controls valve timing. VTEC controls timing and valve lift.

    Toyota also uses a system called VVTLI Variable Valve Timing with Lift & Intelligence.

    VVTLI is like vtec

    not sure if they make those engines anymore though? they were in the celica GT-S

    They were using it in some of there mid-output 4 bangers but they have gone away from.
