    I hope :(

So I've had a horrible grinding/vibration noise at certain speeds in certain gears that has only gotten worse since I bought the truck used. Hell, its even had a "rebuilt" replacement put in with no change. Honestly I think they just spray painted my original one black. F:goingcrazy:ckin carmax.

Anyhow, so I started poking around underneath it tonight and found 360 degree slack in my output shaft to the drive shaft. yay

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure having any kind of detectable slack in the output or input of anything related to the driveline in no good.

I can grab the drive shaft and wiggle it up and side to side in the transmission, not a lot, but definitely noticeable. I can even hear it clunking inside the transmission.

No it is not the u-joints.

In case anyone is wondering exactly where I'm talking about below is a picture.

Anybody know what a new R155 transmission cost? I think I'm going to have the dealer just drop a new one in it.
