After doing some research, I decided to go with ARB's new style with the fog lights. Need to start looking at lifts for the front now, any suggestions on what is the best in the long run??

Need Help with LIFT selection... please read below.

Congrats! I like the OME setup they offer. Are you going to run a winch on the bar?

    A few bolts are different.
The ARB + Winch has been a great purchase. You will like it. I would suggest the 886 springs with the OME front struts.

All depends on the amount of lift you want. For a 3" lift, they all have their pros and cons. Example:

Old Man Emu: Solid dependable lift, non adjustable, but you can add trim packers to account for extra weight of the driver side. Proven dependable.

Bilstien 5100's. Can be adjusted off the truck, up to 2.5". Life time warranty against defects. Can be used with OEM springs, or aftermarket springs, and adjusted acccordingly.

Coil over sets: Example Fox, King, Icon,
fully adjustable and rebuildable. King is the most money, but (IMHO) the best.

Icons have a digressive dampening, giving a more firm ride on the dtreet, but softer on larger hits.

best bang for your buck (IMO) -> Skyjacker Platinum adjustable coilovers. Made by Fox. Rebuildable. Mine have been great!

No plans on a winch at the moment. I had been checking out the OME setup, I want a couple inches of lift, don't want to have to buy new tires, as I just bought these BFG AT's in 265 75 on my FJ wheels (don't want them looking too small). Cost isn't that important, I don't halfway do anything. What is the point that that you need new control arms after lifting a 2nd gen??

I'm mounting my arb as we speak! Just waiting on my winch to get here...common UPS!

You guys who have winches in this bumper-did you need to turn the gear box for proper fitment? the instructions say to turn it 72 degrees??? Also does anyone have suggestions on wiring the lights?

This is my install article The gear box is very easy to clock 72 degrees but do not lift it higher than needed to turn the housing.

I'd go 5100's and set them at 1:75 there's your coule inches, I have this same setup on my truck with the relentless fab bumper, sits about dead level and you're only out $180 for the billys

5100s at 1.75" is pretty safe to get properly aligned. The caster is what seems most limiting due to the forward shift of the control arms. It seems that each truck is a little different, in my experience. Mine JUST makes it into alignment spec at 1.75", so would never make it at 2.5. I've heard of others who have made it in spec at 2.5. Mine is aligned, but very little caster, so the truck does wander more than OEM. Also, 1.75 levels just about right with the rear spring TSB. It might be a bit low though with the ARB and a winch. The 5100s also give a nice ride.

I'm jealous--I'd love the ARB and winch--nice call.

I have a ARB Bull Bumper as well and currently I'm running Toytec CO's cranked up to about 2.75" (maybe a little more) and with the weight of the bumper it sits at about 2.5" Front lift so it doesn't make the suspension sag and ton but enough to be noticable.

Thanks theduck911, do you know anyone running the setup I am looking at? It is around 2.75-3 inches of lift as well. Are you running UCA's?

    Just a little update.

I got everything mounted, wired and ready to go! It was a pretty easy install, and it looks awesome. I'm very happy with the bumper/winch combo and it lowered the front of my truck less than 1/4 inch with 885 coils. I will post some pics soon.

Thanks everyone for all your input!
