I am having a terrible time finding a Daytona Blue, SPORT crew cab Tacoma. Dealer says if I cant find a 2011 one Made in 2010, that the prices of the truck are increasing in January by $500 and I would lose the $500 rebate (I would get what ever the promotion was on Jan 4th) It seems like most are spoken for within 250 miles, and it seems the quickest I am going to get one is toward end of January or 1st of Feb. I Anyone have any suggestions. Are the prices REALLY going up MIDWAY thru model year 2011, or is the dealer sticking it to me??

Sounds like they want to meet their sales goals by feeding you BS. Why not save $$ by going slightly used?

Don't settle for what they want to sell you. When I bought mine it took them about 3 weeks to find one exactly how I wanted it. You need for them to realise that the pressure for the sale is on them...not you.

Thanks Guys!! Went to another dealer.... Sealed the whole deal in 35 minutes (Locating vehicle, financing, and signing) $250 over invoice and got the $500 rebate on top of it. Dealer had to go 300 miles to get the truck! But I got the one I wanted. They will deliver to me next week.

When they deliver the truck next week I will!! This seems to be a great and active board! Dealers flying someone to NJ to drive the truck back. I am trying to avoid paying property taxes for 2011. Said I could take delivery next week, and we date the title Jan 2nd 2011.
