I say get both. Set the Billies at 0 and put the OME 885s with the top plate spacers on top. That is what I am doing since I ordered all of my stuff yesterday

Toytec recommended that the 5100's not be used with the 885 or the 886 coils only the ebachs.

    Good to know.

I've read TRD & TRD Sport mentioned a lot in this thread, but what about an SR5? I would like to lift, using the 5100 billies, but I am concerned about the rear now. I have an '08, and I have not done the rear spring TSB. (does this TSB even affect my truck?). Should I do the Toyota TSB for the rear spring and do the front billies to get a mild (2.5") lift? Should I go with a different supplier (downsouth motorsports) for add-a-leaf? Progressive or not?

I don't think I want to keep the 'rake' on the truck. I'd prefer it to be level.

I do not tow or haul heavy loads. I also plan to keep my chrome 16" wheels and slap on some Duratrac 265/75R16.

Really, I have never heard this. That shoots down my idea of getting 885's, where did you hear that?

From toytec when I went in to buy 886 coils to go over my 5100's. So I bought the ebiach springs with the aal.

If your buying the OME (Old Man Emu) Springs, why not get the OME Shocks / Struts. Check www.trdparts4u.com they have good prices and you can order the parts you want or a complete suspension kit.

Note: If you’re going to put a heavy front bumper on your truck, use 886 springs. (I have ARB bumper 200lbs & winch 100Lbs) if you are going with just a bull bar, use 885 springs. No bumper, use 884 springs. OME springs are not recommended to be used with any other struts ONLY OME struts. 305/70/16 COOPER DISCOVERER STT's (33.1" x 12")

I'm gonna run Eibach Springs and Billy 5100s set at .85 and then have a 1.5" AAL in the rear. I'm also running Light Racing UCAs

    I currently have a 3" spacer lift with a 1.5" AAL

Anybody know if the Billies at "0" with Eibachs give any lift, or if they sit at stock height?

Ive got an 07 TRD Sport Access Cab. Ive been trying to do a little searching on here. I want to do a mild lift on mine, but keep somewhat stock ride. I do NOT have the rear TSB done.

So if I were to say want a 2.5" lift all the way around. Id need, Billies 5100 on stock coils. And a AAL ?? Is this correct?

How much rake are you measuring now? I do believe the tsb applies to your truck. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/7107-tsb-list-2005-2009-toyota-tacoma.html

The tsb adds about 1/2" to the rear. It really isn't that complex. If your really worried do the front first, that's a lot trickier if your going to replace the front coils.

What I was trying to point out was that a 3" aal will give you about 4" initially, then fade down to about 3". Lifting isn't an exact science, there are to many variables. That being said, an aal from toytec or downsouth should end up within 1/4" of it's stated lift about. So our 3" aal should come out between 2 3/4" and 3 1/4".
