Is getting out of your truck always a "Shocking" experience?

Only when its cold I get shocked but thats every vehicle I get out of

 

my mom's 02 camry always does this, but not my truck. idk why.

 

Whenever I'm wearing multiple layers, especially fleece. I've gotten into the habit of grounding the back of my hand into the door when getting out of any car. Less surprising that way.

 

Barometric pressure is your attacker , higher the pressure, the air is denser,heavier, like on a cold winter day, more activity between electrons & neurons

 

I get zapped only in the winter. But it is every time I get out.

The only other vehicle I've had this problem with is my wife's 4 Runner.

Maybe it's a Toyota thing.....

 

I get shocked now that its cold getting out of mine. My old Dakota was worse than the Tacoma.

Along this topic, got my daughter a Kinect for the xbox. Was playing Dance central while on the leaving room carpet in socks. My fiancee walks by and I go to grab a kiss. Didn't touch any part of her before we touched lips and got a helluva lip to lip shock.

Also, my poor cat gets a shock every time I pet her. One stroke, one shock, next stroke, another shock. Sometimes I'm devious and aim for the tips of her ears each time...
