im going to put it on the side of the drivers seat..

i searched through a ton of threads and it does not show how people mount them.. thise screws they come with dont seem like they will hold.. prob just pill them right out with the light.. i figured rivets would be he best option but i dont have any... any one use anything else with good luck??

I just mounted mine over the weekend. I used the screws that came with the mag light clip package. They tightened down pretty tight. If you do not trust them, try some small bolts. You can get you hand in under the seat to tighten the nuts.

i marked and drilled four small holes with a dremmel for the mounts-- then put in different screws than the ones that came with it, along with nuts on the back, and some 3m double side tape for good measure-- that thing is not going anywhere!!!

If you think rivets would do the job Home Depot has a good selection of rivets and hand operated rivet puller.

edit...if your useing the rivets on plastic I'd advise useing some thin metal as a backing plate...the rivet could pull right through the plastic otherwise.

I slide my 4 cell mag between the seat and console . The head sticks out about 4 inches . Enough to pull out easily.
I also thought small and did this for quick access . Or when I don't need a club/light !

    WOW :rimshot:

I just used the screws that came in the mag light package. It seems really sturdy and if they rip out I will just switch over to a 6MM bolt with a nut on the back side.

I used the screws that come with the mounts. Mine has worked fine for at least a year. Just dont get too rough with it and it seems to hold just fine. :)

I also used the screws that came with the mounts. After 1 1/2 years they are still holding great.

I figured if they didn't hold, I could always go with bolts later on, but this way I start with the smallest holes possible in the plastic.
