you could rent something for your trips?
What's your ortho prognosis?
So many with knee injuries here, everyone's is unique in its own way. Hope the best in your recovery.

Yeah I can always swap cars with my dad, he has all wheel drive Kia Sorento.

Besides. The 5lug truck is actually an awesome platform to turn into wheeling truck. With 33's & locker the truck will be very capable! Would be awesome to swap in bucket seats from SR5 Taco

I am going to see the surgeon today. i will let you guys know what he says.

Hey Tony,
Good luck with the surgeon.
I've had 2 scopes on my left knee for a medial meniscus tear in the last 12 months.
good luck

Denis

I've got knee issues too. I went to see an orthopedic surgeon 2 years ago when I was 35 and the MRI showed I basically have the knees of a 70 year old man. My right one is bone on bone on one side. Regardless he said it's not worth operating on as I can still get around just fine, I just experience pain at times and they sound terrible. Personally I wouldn't trade trucks just for this. You should recover just fine. And I doubt owing 15k on a 2WD that you will be able to trade out of it for quite a while. But I did recently go from an SR5 access cab 4x4 4cyl/5 speed to a double cab 4x4/auto with the TRD package and it's a WAY nicer truck. The truck I sold had 102k on it and I sold it for $11,900. I bought my double cab with 113k on it for $13,800. The only reason I went to a double cab was my family no longer fit in the access cab.

Great to hear it.

Now get yourself on a glucosamine regimen. Seriously.

You'll be glad for it when you're an old f**k like me
