    "technical service bulliten"

this is where having a good relationship with a dealer can pay off. you want to give him your VIN and ask him to check and see if the TSB applies to your vehicle

Just tell the dealer that you seem to be bottoming out with light loads on bumps. Ask them to fix it. Tell them you don't think it should bottom out like that, that it doesn't seem right for a new truck.

Keep the TSB in your back pocket. Don't show it unless you have to. Those are issued by Toyota to dealers to help them take care of customer complaints.

I had my 2010 done. What a difference!

Not sure. Are you still covered by warranty?

Remove the blocks and then take it to the dealer. Be sure to tell them that the ride is harsh and it bottoms out.

The TSB does not apply to regular cabs.

Depends on the dealer. A friend on mine got it done while his lift was still on.

What kind of rear lift do you have? If it's an add-a-leaf, then you'll have a hard time arguing that your truck bottoms out, since the springs are a lot stiffer than stock.

That will give the dealer an easy way to say "your lift caused the springs to weaken". True or not, I'd take it out before trying to get the tsb.

I don't have any problem with the rear springs hauling or towing just wondering if I should check on it or get it done before it becomes a problem
