Yeah...I'll give ya that scumbags will do whatever. I've had soft covers on three of my trucks (totalling about 5 years of ownership) and never had it happen or seen it happen. My buddies Jeep never got molested either.

I like the hard covers- but don't aways plan to need to the bed uncovered or not. Go to a flew market or antiques store and something hits the wifes fancy and all of the sudden- I need the bed uncovered. So I went the soft route again. Hard rollups are a good inbetween too-I just didn't want to give up bedspace for the roll up housing.

Thanks for the examples tho- Gives me that much more reason for my CCW.

I've had toppers on my previous 3 Toyota trucks. On when you need to haul something big, and off when you don't. And they aren't cheap or light either.

Thought I'd try something different this round and I've been very happy with the Undercover. Very light but strong, secures the tail gate when locked and they can't see inside to tempt them. So far it has been water proof as well. Mine was $700 installed. There was about a $200 difference in price by calling 5 different shops around town.

Thanks for the pics guys. Still a little pricey, but the undercover looks like the way to go.

I too went with the UnderCover, it was 650 installed. I too found a big price difference by calling around. It's been great in the 2 months I've had it.

Undercover! Secure and dry. They open easy...like a big trunk.
That $658 is a good price, $670( shipped )from Autoanything.

I like the Bakflip G2. You'd need a pop-n-lock to lock the tailgate.

Why not 658 shipped? That is what I got it for. You just have to call 4Wheelonline and ask them about the lower price.

    ETAV8R,
I suppose I should have quoted you to make things clearer. That is a good price...better than the $670 I paid 3 weeks ago.
    Regardless, it's a great product.
