i have a tri-fold soft cover. not sure of the brand. i would like to mount some bars over the tonneau across the bed for some extra storage for road trips. i could use round steel bars or maybe something from thule or yakima.

Ah, I see. My truxedo cover mounts to the bed rails using aluminum inserts which can be purchased separately:

If you could find some s-shaped brackets at a hardware store, maybe you could mount them to the bed rails using those inserts?

    Sorry, not much help.
