Starting over with a new GMC AT4 Satin Steel Metallic Softopper, Bilstein 5100's @ 1.75 in the front, TSB Rear, 17x8.5 Lvl 8 Guardians, 265/70-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, Scooped, Anytime fog mod, Osram Nightbreakers, LED Interior lights, Debadged, Painted valance, Removed rear head rests, De-flapped, Hidden Hitch installed, Weather Techs, Flyzeye'd A/W/A, Cover Kings.
Chirpy heater - this just started a few weeks ago 55k miles.
    No heated mirrors
Low seat position - hurts my back occasionally on long trips.
Rear view mirror location, way too low.
Glove box damper - Broke after first time taking it off .. gently.
No 12v power in the rear - Access Cab
    No heated seats

    Most important for me:

For some reason they only put safety latches for car seats behind the driver and in the passenger seat.. WTF? If you were going to only put 1 car seat in the back wouldn't you put it behind the passenger?

I've never seen a " Brand New " car or truck with worn out tires on a lot.

Why did you buy a new truck with worn out tires?

Any brand tire could get a nail in it, even within the first 500 miles or even the first mile.

The 2013 Tacoma was new but the tires on it didn't have a lot of tread they were bfg rugged trail , most of the tires I buy have twice the tread, I think the car makers buy the cheapest tires to put on the new vehicles mostly I just take them off , I put Toyo open country m/t they have a lot of meat on them.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
new the BFG rugged fails don’t have much tread on them. it is pretty shity for toyota to put such a tire on the trucks.

You can actually move it up some, and to get it even higher turn it upside down.

The only thing I would like to see improved is the interior lighting. I wish the cup holder/storage area by the shifter was illuminated as well as the ignition. It would also be nice if the dome light came on when the key is removed from the ignition.

I'd also like to see the V6 from the 4Runner put in the Tacoma.

Other than that minor wish list, I love my truck!

I was thinking of getting one of those. It would be nice to see an OEM option for interior lighting though. Not a need-to-have, but a nice-to-have.

Gas mileage sucks, gas tank too small, no v8 option, no smart key option and really that's about it.

It does, not sure which position, but the switch on your dome light has three positions, one of which allows for this dramatic fade to light effect. It's pretty sweet. My 2010 has it...can't imagine the 13 would lose that feature

What I dont like is the fact no aftermarket company makes a manual hub conversion. If there was an option for that it would solve the problem with the bearings in the front diff that get worn out sometimes and make noise, mine did. I like manual hubs.
    Ya no complaints

A v8 diesel would be nice. Hauling ass at 1500rpm with a nice smooth torque band.

That's my gripe, MPG. However, I think a 21 gallon gas tank is plenty for this vehicle. I get over 300 miles with it as is, which would be better with the aforementioned gripe of crappy MPG improving.

Not enough power. Went from driving a Ram 3500 Cummins welding rig, to my taco. Pretty rough change.25-30k lbs behind the Dodge was easier that 5k with the Taco. Plus my Dodge could really take a beating. My Tacoma got beat up by my grandma's Prius

Agreed, but I bought a flyzeye, it's fantastic and looks OEM.

From full to empty light is right at 17 gallons in my truck. If I had 20 useable gallons and a little better economy I would be ok. I can barely touch 300 miles per tank.
