Lack of stake pockets on the bed rails makes it harder to find rack systems.

Might the shaking have been because you were on pavement? (You said "store", I assume paved parking lot). I started mine out in 4H in a muddy (unpaved) parking lot after dinner one night and it was fine. I hesitated a bit before starting because I couldn't remember if starting in 4H was a bad idea, but I had shut off the truck in 4H so there was no turning back at that point. Trucked started up like normal, felt normal, backed out and threw mud all over the car next to me (which I'm assuming got stuck because his/her back tire was buried almost up to the axle in mud).

It's amazing what service departments will say. No worries starting in 4H. You may run into issues if the pavement is dry which will result in binding.

    Trailer pkg. 6 spd.

Agree completely! I reckon they don't bother going into any detail because it would be a total waste of time with so many non-gearheads. "What's a gear?" is ok from a 10 year old. Not so bright for an adult.

One intersection I often get stopped at is an uphill. With my 6 speed manual and trailer gears, it's easy to get wheel hop starting out. I can hit the button for rear diff locker, or turn the knob to "4H". Both fix the problem, but I'm also going straight through the intersection, so I typically go with "4H". If I go with "4H", I wait until I'm shifting to 2nd gear and turn the knob to "2H" while the clutch is depressed. Otherwise, big clunk as the transfer case disengages 4wd. Normal enough...

I have had several instances where it was nearly impossible to disengage 4 Low. Neutral, idling, clutch pedal depressed, stopped, brakes on, WTF? Too much computer control, I'm thinking. :(

When you try to disengage 4 low are you going to 4h or straight to 2 wheel if so it won't disengage.

    1. Stereo sucks
    2. No automatic headlight off feature (lights stay on for a set amount of time then automatically shut off..)
    3. Have to do a mod in order to have your fog lights on without the headlights
    4. Gas mileage

    Overall great truck though....

I don't like the loud ticking engine and the seats stain way too easy but overall happy with the truck as a whole mine has held up good

    1.) Most factory stereos do.

2.) Yes it does. Stop, Park truck, Turn off Ignition Switch, Open drivers door = Headlights go off = Automatic Headlights Off Feature.

3.) None issue, Turn on the headlights... :\

    4. Meh. It is a truck.

Its IFS and It's departure angle  but it's a truck not a jeep and a HC bumper will greatly help with that! I do miss the old straight axle days though :( other than that I LOVE MY TRUCK TO PIECES!

It is a lack of feature so, not so much 'I don't like it', but rather 'I would like to have it'- I would like the blinkers to blink three times when I just touch them over. My old VW did that and it was great for changing lanes. Super convenient.
Don't like? Gas mileage, like everyone else.
Other than that...so far, so good. It's a truck. I don't expect or want too much gilding.

Here is one thing I really do like- the 'table' on the back of the passenger seat. My daughter (in a booster seat) can kick the heck out of the front seat and it won't ruin it.

I don't like the "blowout noise" when I shut it off. It doesn't do it all the time but it's annoying when it does. My truck farts! I heard its normal. Will there be a TSB? Is there? Smogpump?

Couple things with the 2014 model:
    No height adjusting seat
    No auto dimming/compass/homelink rearview mirror
Standard stereo sound isn't so great
No cab light on the outside to light up the bed at night
    No locking gas cap
Some of the black plastic trim pieces. (You accidentally get a little wax on it, it turns chalky white)

One thing that will permanently fix that is to take a pink pencil eraser and erase the wax residue.

Peanut butter, cooking oil, and cleaner will work temporarily; But after a month or so the oil in the peanut butter or cleaner will dry out and you'll need to re-apply. The pink pencil eraser is a permanent fix, try it out.

    Bone Stock, for now
I'm back again. My cup holders in the manual console still piss me off every time I get in the truck. Nothing but nothing fits correctly in the two larger ones.
Everything else? Awesomesauce. Small complaint for such a kick ass vehicle.

I dont like the shape of the fender flares on the gen 2's. Too "boxy" if you will. I just pulled up next to 2 gen 1's and it hit me all over again, worst redesign on the whole truck IMO.
Wheels are round, make the wheel wells round

Chevy did it in this years model as well, looks fucking horrible.

I don't like having dash lights on with the headlights off. Seems like a weird combo and I have to double check if my lights are on or off
