Here is the where I put my switches. The lights are kind of awkward to to on and off but it not a big deal since they rarely get used.

    Thanks for the replies.

So has anyone used the empty steering wheel spots?

Not on this site but I believe Warn has some wireless switches people have mounted to steering wheels.

Having a switch that is harder to reach is not really a big deal if you also tie the lights into your high beams. Havn't done it to my Tacoma yet, but I have done this on my last two vehicles. In other words, the switch still turns the lights on and off but only if the high beams are on. If you just leave the switch on all the time, the lights go on and off with the high beams. On my last truck I hardly ever touched the aux light switches, just left them on all the time.

You could also mount a foot switch on the left side of the floorboard like the older cars/trucks had for their high/low beam.

I'm honestly thinking of doing a push button switch for driving lights, on the backside of the left upper steering wheel spoke- hidden and easily accessible. Who cares about resale, I'm keeping this thing forever.

    JasoTaco,

Saw the write up on those Warn lights in Toyota 4WD Owner. Very nice, but I've already picked up the Hella 500 Anniversary kit.

But along those lines I found this: http://www.plasmaled.com/wireless.htm

    Looks like a nice option.
