I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the volume of the ring when someone calls me. It is a shrill tone that is really loud and scares the crap out of everyone in the truck. If anyone knows a fix, I'd sure appreciate hearing about it.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    What Mods!
You want to adjust the ring volume, go into the options and ring tone there should be an option to adjust volume.

I'm glad I made you laugh, but I was serious. I figured it out. As you said the ringer volume is managed by the volume control on the steering wheel (I was using the dash volume control) and the System Guidance volume is adjusted in System Setup Option as mentioned above. Thanks for the help guys. I'm loving my new Toy.

I just finished installing a winch in a storage box on the front of 17' Featherlite car trailer that I bought. The rig is going to look pretty good with my Ultima on the trailer behind the Tocoma.

    Thanks again,
    Paul

Paul (or anyone else), I was wondering if you could help me troubleshoot the bluetooth in my new '09 DC w/JBL... I got the phone paired to the truck fine and entered numbers to speed dial, but when I call someone they can't hear me and I can't hear them. Wasn't sure if I was missing something in the process. Thanks!

I'm sure you've tried adjusting the volume control on the steering wheel, but then again, that wouldn't affect them not hearing you? Humm, I don't have any ideas unless something is broken.

You're a step ahead of me, I can't figure out how to program the numbers in, but I use the iPhone and prefer its user interface to the tracks anyway.

    Good luck,
    Paul

Well, I tried it again today and it worked without a problem - we could hear each other loud and clear! I guess I was just doing something wrong the other day
