Anyone know how to remove fenders??

Need help removing them...I did my due diligence and searched but came up with nothing....

 

Just dig into it. Remove the inner plastic fender well, pop the hood, and open the door.

There are several bolts (and/or plastic rivets, I don't remember) in each of these locations.

Once you've removed everything you can see, start yanking on it, and figuring out where it is still being held on by.

 

Just start checking which bolts are holding it on, and start removing them. You'll need to remove your inner fender liner, and possibly even your flares. The flares are held on with clips that break every time you remove them. They're cheap though...

 

guys....all he needs to get off is the fender flares....dont take the whole fender off....once you take the screws out of the flares in the fender well the flares will slide up or down to come off the clips...then pull the clips out of the body and ur done...

Ive done this 3 times. The plastic on the flares that hold on the clips are very easy to break, so be careful. They are part of the flare too, so cannot be replaced. Just remove all the bolts, about 5 per flare i believe, and pull the flare off. I think its best to pull kind of upwards, because straight out will make it much harder. If you can, remove the liner and get behind the actual fender where the clips are, and use pliers to pop them out from the fender. Much less chance of breakage.

 

Read slergios post here, it makes the most sense. also, I noticed that if you remove the plastic boxes in the bed, 8 torx screws, you can access the back of the flare along the bedside. Trust me, you want to remove the plastic clips with the flare. Also, when you install the bushwackers, youll want the bed boxes off. The hardest pice to remove is the front bumper flare piece. Anyone remove a fender without removing the bumper? Wanted to mock a fiberglass fender on one side just to see if thats the direction i wanted to go vs. just cutting the oe fenders up.
Im sure its probably more trouble than its worth but thought id ask

 

I'm not sure how you would since the bumper is covering two bolts. Should only take you 30 minutes to get the bumper off and that's going slow. I think it's a few plastic clips and four bolts.
