bilstien 5100s all the way around, ICON progressive 3 leaf kit, Illegal tint, snuglid SL, seatbelt chime mod. light racing UCAs

I got a snuglid tonneau installed and it turns out that the light on the tonneau cover (with a on/off switch) can only be turned on with the truck is half started and the lights must be on. Lame. Anybody have any ideas on how I can rewire this so that I can turn on my damn light whenever I want regardless of the state of the lights/engine key?
