Have been reading where people have ordered the new stalk at 1stToyotaparts.com. for $95.00 with no tax and no shipping cost. Just ordered mine yesterday and it's gone up to $99.65 + $9.70 for shipping ($109.35 total) That's for regular ground shipment with no rush. That is still the cheapest I have found. Will report if the install goes smoothly or I wind up with bloody knuckles.....MM

    MWCMike,

Any chance you took pics or can explain a step-by-step? I have an '08 access cab base and it's driving me nuts not having intermittent wipers. Dealer said that they won't install it if it didn't come with the truck.

    Thanks!

    Dave

Wow man, that's crazy. I guess Toyota doesn't want the general public to know how easily intermittent wipers can be had. I didn't realize my truck didn't come with it until I drove off the lot, lol. I was pretty bugged, as I figured every modern vehicle came standard with intermittent wipers...I was wrong. Anyway, for $110 bucks I'm not complaining any more...anyone know what this feature would have cost from the dealer?

Thanks Roland for your detailed install instructions. I was able to install my wipers in under 15 minutes. They look great and work perfectly. Installed on my 2008.

I figured I'd save some time by taking your story into account and waiting to have a beer later...oh btw, I also installed a new set of E3 plugs the guys on speedvision keep raving about...I noticed a smoother sounding engine with easier start-ups...

The cheapest deal I could find was factory-direct.

    Check it out.

Next install will be fog lights...

I just bought a 2012 and would like to do this mod too. I see that the thread says there is some issue with things working backwards on the newer ones. Anyone have info on a 2010 or 2011 where they did the mod? I just want to order the right switch before I take it apart.
