ANYONE HEAR THIS?

I have a 2009 DC Sport, V-6 Auto.
Has anyone heard a ticking noise, that sounds like it is coming from the dash area?

 

you mean when hitting bumps?

 

If your air is on try turning it up a notch and then back down and see if it changes... Just started in my 2010... The blower motor is making a ticking/chirping sound.

Ticking from the dash sounds like the blower fan. Does it stop if you turn the blower off?

 

i think its the fan. i bought mine in may 10 and i have been trying to figure out what it was

 

Pull the cabin filter out and check it. I saw a car in my shop that was basically new- a mouse ate thru the filter and stuff went into the fan area. By stuff, I mean the dead mouse- and it's tail was rattling when the fan was going.

 

Its the blower motor... Its a TSB

 

i took it to the dealership today. they apparently know about it and didn't give me any trouble.

 

My rattle was fixed today, It was the plastic air box that locks into the right fender. The foam loosens over time and cause the intake to rattle against the fender. I added more foam, problem solved.
