stock intake is a cold air intake, therefore whatever you can craft would be the same thing.

It isn't worth the hassle IMO. Most aftermarket intakes only add 5 hp on a good day. If you want sound then go for it but if you are looking for power then don't bother.

even if you go with a professionally made cold air intake the performance gains are negligible.
