Wow, I woulda though that would shield you from a Prius. Guess the only solution is to get sliders, and then keep the dent doctor card in my glovebox for those times when they can't save it. Lucky so far I have no dings as of 8000 miles on the ODO.

Looking at the side by side photo, it's hard to imagine those trucks are the same body, i guess it's the taller stance, fender flares and larger wheels and tires, but wow, big difference. Your truck looks good, i might check out similiar graphics for my silver streak.

Pretty amazing to think the 5-lugger weighs 650 lb less than your truck, and 800 lb less than mine.

Yeah it really is hard to believe they are the same. It'd be interesting to see if someone managed to actually turn a 5 lugger into the same look as a Prerunner. It'd be tough since they don't make many lifts for the 5 lug and the flares, you'd have to custom punch out the mounting holes. But it would be really badass to see such a transformation.

So what all is really different? Lighter suspension components...lighter frame...lighter rear axle? Oh, and four fewer lug nuts...

Everything else seems to be the same.

4 cyl vs 6 cyl can account for some of that weight difference
