I drive over 20,000 miles a year, and I wish I could cut it down to 12K ~15K range although that is highly unlikely. Between work/school/day car I drive a ton.

On my way in today, the light began flashing for an oil change (by mileage) when the sticker still has a month and a half left on it :(

Just wondering what others drive on the average

sadly, I've only put Husky Liners in it thus far - tend to blow all my cash on my bikes and guitars.
I drive about 25k a year........got over 50k on my '08, and the summer months it doesn't get driven as much since I ride my bike to work when it's nice -- Up to you on service intervals, the manual states lube change every 5k but I service mine every 3-4k just for peace of mind more than anything.......I use my A tripometer for fuel mileage, and my B tripometer for oil changes.......if you're getting a maintenance indicator, just reset it if your trucks not due for one

It is due for one by mileage (5K).... just not the time 3 months... or whatever. I think I'm going to look for a cheap commuter. Like a little Honda civic or something.

I do about 25K a year... As far a oil changes, I change at 5K... You really shouldn't worry about time IMO, that is just a gimmic to get you in the shop. Honestly, I would have no issues going 7500 with quality filter and oil, however, I still stick w/ what Toyota says...

My commute is less than 5 mi.
Most of my miles are from recreational driving up to the mountains so avg 15k -20k yr.
I do have a 97 Honda Del Sol I use in the summertime.
It is nice because it gets close to 40mpg but was given to me so I had no cost to offset but...
It still costs in other ways, insurance, upkeep etc.
    Those factors play into it.
I always love getting back in my truck.
Much nicer ride, sit up higher & will not get squished in adverse snow conditions.
I put the car up for the winter right now.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I'm averaging 20.5k/year (113k total). A lot of that was front loaded, I used to be between Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio almost everyother weekend. Since having kid(s) and working for an airline, we don't travel as often, and when we do we fly everywhere now.

My job reimburses me for mileage (51 cents a mile this year), but otherwise, yeah, I wouldn't be driving a truck.

I got my truck end of 08 and it now has 47k miles. My job does something similar as Patrick above!

My dad has had his BMW since May and he has 39k miles or so.

I put about 400-500 miles a week on my truck.

My commute to work is 45-50 miles round trip depending on which route I take. Plus I drive on the weekends pretty much everywhere me and my buddies go. I live the furthest away from my friends in the opposite direction of where we usually hand out. Kinda wish I wouldn't have bought a house as far away as I did looking back on it, but at the time my girlfriend and I bought it and were happy with it. But now it's just me in the house and i'm working a different job further away and I'm stuck in the house (upside down like everyone else these days)...oh well.

I have 82k miles on my '07. I fill up twice a week so thats about $400 a month in gas.

Luckily next year I will be getting a company car so I won't have to pay for gas anymore except my leisure driving on the weekends.

I average about 40k a year. Mostly work, but get mileage paid. After 11 years Ive worn out a couple of vehicles....LOL.
Had a Toyota Matrix for 175k and was still like brand new, but just couldnt stand driving a car any longer and traded it in. Looking back I should have kept it till the wheels fell of and used it as a beater, and just bought the truck outright. Hopefully this one will go 200+ with no issues. I wanna keep it!

I'm on pace to drive about 22k this year with my truck. I love driving, and I love putting on the miles. I bought this truck to be used...I don't want it to just sit in my driveway and collect dust.

I commute 46 miles one way to work 5 days a week. Plus driving on the weekends. The 05 I sold a few months back had 102k on it and I hardly drove it at all the past 4 summers. In the summer I usually drive my Mustang and occasionally get the FJ40 out when I feel like blowing $20 to drive it to work.

I do. My commute is 160 miles round trip. I share the commuting with a friend that works in my office, but I will still get at least 20,000 on mine in a year. I have put 13,000 on it since August 1 when I bought it.
