Hey everyone, first post. I would definatly like to buy a tacoma for my next vehicle, most likely going to be a 2nd gen. Im just curious if the earlier second gen truck have any problems or quirks that would be ironed out in the later years. Looking at v6 double cab hoping to get a manual but wont pass on a good deal if its an auto. Thanks for your input.

I would say if you look at an 05 to check the motor mount brackets welded to the frame, seen lot's of threads on here about them collapsing. Other than that, nothing really sticks out. If you have any specific questions though post em up, we are all glad to help.:D
