I like Deep. I like loud. But im looking for a loud exhaust with some tone to it. not like a raspy sound.

Start with youtube.com, lots of sound clip there. I think there might even be a sound clip thread on here somewhere. It all depends on how much in cab drone you're willing to live with.

If you like the sound of a V8 with an exhaust kit, you're not going to get that with a Tacoma's V6. I had a Chevy with a Gibson Supertruck exhaust, loved it! I'm still on a stock Tacoma exhaust because you can't get that sound out of the V6. You can make it loud, if that's all you're looking for, but it's not the same.

Just read this as me voting for whatever I have. I have no experience with any of the others, but mine is definitely the best.

here is a link to a video of my exhaust... I have a TRD CAI with a AFE pro dry filter that is larger than the stock TRD one. The exhaust is a jardine catback I bought for around $240 I believe.

I have a Spintech. It is loud coupled with a CAI. I didn't like it at first until I drove it on the highway and could barely hear it. Also have magnaflow on a pre-runner, it's too quiet. I'm gonna try Wicked Flow on a 5th Gen 4Runner to see how that sounds like.

I have been told to get the Aero Turbine AT2525 (not the XL).

I might just get a Flowmaster super 44, its all the local autozone has. I don't like waiting for shipping :D

I love my Stainless Steel Borla Cat Back Exhaust

No cab drone and a nice quiet cruising tone, but when u get on the throttle it will defiantly turn heads:mudding:

Throw on a Magnaflow muffler. I did two weeks after I bought my truck and I have 53,000+ on it now and it sounds great and is in very good shape. Don't what the hell dude above is talking about but whatever. There are a bunch of folks using them with no problems.
