Where did you find your style CAP? I'm looking for a no side window style. Seems limited.

I just went to www.4are.com and went to the 'build a cap option. :)
I'm not sure if you can select no side windows though

Your shell looks great without windows

Got some updated photos of the baja racks I installed on the cab and camper. Lots of space now!

Here is my camper shell. So far I like it but I am hearing a whistling sound coming from the roof rack.

Get a Yakima fairing, it will take care of that.

I was told to wrap a bungy cord around the bar. I haven't tried it, but they say it works

I will look into the fairing as well as the bungee chord. So far I am liking the topper.

Here's my new shell: Leer 100RCC. Looks the same as the 100R but the roof is reinforced to carry a load of 400 pounds. Some guys earlier on were wondering what Leer replaced the DeWalt contractor roof rack with - it's a CapRac setup. Apparently Thule owns it and that's what they use now.

The CapRac is rated for 800 pounds (!) so is plenty strong. Limited by how much weight your shell can handle, basically. Bars are 5'5" wide and stand 5" from the roof to the top of the bar. Load stops make that even higher.

^ Great looking shell! Thanks for the close up pics of the CapRac mounting hardware. I always like to understand how stuff works.
