    Has anybody mounted spare fuel cans like jeep cans in the bed, I'm a bit curious as to what has been done. I want to do a few trails that gas is few and far between and that reflects the price of it.

    I have been toying with that idea, plus a couple others. I would add a bracket system down from the bed rails, say out of 1" alum. or steel, then mount the can base to it. You will need to do some minor bending, and a set up to the bed rail. Here is what I did to a high lift jack (below) got the idea from here.
