When I'm driving around sometimes I hear this sparking/popping sound coming from somewhere behind or under the steering wheel. I drive a Six Speed Manual Access Cab V-6. Any idea what it is and whether or not I should be worried about it?

I certainly would!!! The panels under the steering wheel come off fairly easy IIRC, or take it to the dealership! I wouldn't want to catch fire while I'm driving down the road...its not fun. I've had it happen before in an old ford dumptruck....not fun!

When your truck makes odd noises it's talking to you. You need to learn to speak Tacoma.

Go to the dealer. They speak it. :)
