I want to upgrade the 15" (215/70-15) factory steel rims on my 07 2WD Tacoma Access Cab with 16" Rav4 rims (235/60-15).

    I noticed that 2001 - 2005 Rav4's came with 16 X 7 Factory Rims.

Are there any fitment issues with Rav4 wheels on my 07 2wd Tacoma?

Are the hubs the same size so that the Rav4 wheel will mount flush?

The Rav4 wheels should be a nice upgrade over the factory steel wheels.

Just picked up a set from an 05 RAV4, will let you know when I get them on, hopefully this weekend. From what I can tell they will fit fine.

I'm sure the 5-lug bolt pattern is the same, but am not positive that the center of the rim will fit over the center of the hub.

Please let me know after you try to mount them.

    Thanks for the update!

the 05+ center bore is relatively small so there is a good chance it will fit...add that to our super small front brakes and almost any rim fits lol...

They fit great. Only issue was the lug nuts, had to buy a new set for alloy rims. Overall they look way better than stock but could be a bit larger to fill the wheel wells. For $450 with half worn Bridgestones they were a great deal. Will post pics when I can.

Bringing back an old thread from the dead. But I'm really curious if 16" steel wheels from older 96-05 Rav4 will work on 05-15 Tacomas. I know the bolt pattern is the same. I'm pretty sure the center bore as well. I want to know if they will clear the caliper and if stock TPMS sensors from Tacoma steelies would be direct fit.
