    yeah, just dont shoot a hard stream at it

    mist it all down, hit it with 50/50 simple green/water. scrub it down with an old towel/rag/brush

    and mist to rinse it off, whip down, and use your favorite engine detailer

    thats the thing what would be a good engine detailer..sorry just have never did this before

    Some sort of large medium-bristle brush would be good, like the kind they sell for cleaning wheels.

    If you like me and you don't want to risk it, than take it to a detailer. They have insurance in-case they destroy anything. How did you get it that way?

    Only 55K Original Miles in Spring of 2018
    After you get the bulk of the mess off with simple green and water, I suggest you use Gunk Engine Shine. You can actually use the Gunk before to break up any tough grime, rinse off, dry, and then go back with the Gunk on a rag to get the details. Should be able to find the Gunk or something similar at your local parts store. Good luck with the clean up.
