If I give the gas a quick punch and rev the engine (while idling or while driving) there is a pretty obvious quick "chh" sound coming from the engine immediately before it revs.

Truck idles fine, drives great, no check engine light or any problems. I'm not sure if this is a new thing or if it's always done this and I'm just now noticing it. I have about 7,000 miles on it.

Is this normal? Do they all do this? [IMG]

Yep mine does it too...sort of a cough, but only when I first start it in the mornings & not every time. It shouldn't do this & I'll try to find out why.
