07 taco keyless lock/unlock chirp??

    20% tint, HID headlights/ yellow fog light bulbs and LED lights interior/exterior lights. 4.5 Inch RCD lift, 1 Piece custom driveshaft, AEM intake, Dynomax Exhaust, Amp research Moto-bed extender, Extang Express tonno.
    picked up an 07 tacoma trd sport last weekend, I noticed the lil chirp when you lock or unlock the doors with the keyless remote is not sounded the park lights still flash but no chirp.. Is mine supposed too? I tried to toggle the enable/disable chip thing got no response. But I may have been doing it wrong.. Any help please?

    There are literally millions of threads on this question. In a word, no. It doesn't chirp.

    I have a 2007 TRD Sport and it does not chirp when locking or unlocking.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    If you want it to chirp, You can get a unit from Moerse.com that you easilly tap into a couple wires, and it gives you the factory chirp sound. Or, you can source the parts yourself, and do it that way.

    I have an 07 offrd and mine does chirp. sounds like someone tapping the horn when i lock/unlock it. and yes i am the original owner, and have never messed with the alarm system.
