MB Seven X Wheels, Hankook Optima Tires, Billet Grille, Blacked out headlights tailights and third brake light, LEER 700 Series tonneau cover, Blacked out emblems, Wolo air horn, Sony Xplod stereo, 8" Bazooka subwoofer, painted to match bumpers, leather arm rests.
Im gonna sell my regular cab to buy a Access cab, but I need your guys opinions. How much do you think I can get out of mine? Its a 2005 White regular cab Tacoma, 5 speed manual, Clear title, 27,000 miles, and meticulously cleaned.

    The upgrades:

17" Chrome MB seven X wheels with Hankook tires
    Chrome billet Grille
Hard tonneau cover painted to match the truck
    Blacked out emblems
    Blacked out headlight covers
    Sony Xplod stereo
    Bazooka 8" subwoofer/amp combo
    White leather armrests
    Tinted windows
    Upgraded power doors
Wolo air horn with about the same power as a train horn
And of course a TacomaWorld sticker :D

    The downsides:

About 5 or 6 small scratches here and there
Small marble sized tear in the seat
2 rims have 1 inch scratches on them

Get your values on Edmunds.com (gives you more than KBB does). Then go from there. If you trade it in, expect wholesale or lower. If you sell it you could get retail +.

If the right person came along. Possibly $1000 over retail. But all you might get is retail or less. It depends on your market. Also your truck is going to appeal to someone younger, than someone in his 50's+. Your big selling points are very low mileage, & lots of extras.

Try selling on craigslist. It is free!

Im probably thinking listing it for $15,000 to $16,000. But probably towards $16,000 so I can still get what I want after someone tries to haggle it down.

From what I've seen for 5 lugs, expect to get maybe $11K-$13K private party, even less for trade in.

Consider this, I got my '05 Prerunner V6 TRD O/R for $17,200 with 28,414 on it (lol how I memorized that). Not trying to offend, but your not going to get $16K outta your truck.

I know im not gonna get $16 out of it. I would just post it higher so people can still bargain down. Because if I set it at like $13 there gonna try and get $12 and so on and so forth.

Then you have to be careful. If you price it as high as a new one. Then I would rather by an 09 with no miles, than an 05 with 27k.

Pricing it at $16K will get you one thing: a truck you can't get rid of. Price it slightly over the retail value.

Part it out. You'll never see the value of the mods because people won't pay more than actual value unless you happen to run into someone who wants exactly what you have (you won't). The idea is to increase the truck's appeal along a broader base. For example, what if some 70 year old retired guy wants it but doesn't want all the mods? He's moving on to something else.

Most people would rather see the truck in stock condition. Remove the stereo and air horn. They are worth nothing to most buyers. Less than nothing really.

Yup, I just went through that. Tried to buy an '05 DC TRD Off-road that had 35k miles on it, and damn near bald OE tires. The guy wanted $21,800 for it, offered him $20k and walked away from it when he wouldn't go below $21k because I could get a new one at invoice from the dealer. What annoyed me even more was that they had 2 other people just happen to stop by wanting to see it when I was looking at it, and I'm fairly positive they were friends, but that's another story. He called me a week after I bought my '09 telling me he'd take $20,500... I told him what I paid for the '09 and told him good luck.
