OEM Rear Fender Loose

2006 Dbl Cab

My driver side rear fender is loose at the top (see pic). Looks like the panel may have been hit at one point...how is it suppose to attach?

 

you probably broke a clip that holds the fender
the fenders snap on to the truck

 

Worth fixing, you think?

 

if it isnt flush with the truck and theres a gap then i would probably fix it so it will look good

 

FYI, that's not a "rear fender", it's a "flare". The flares are held on by small plastic clips that break VERY easily when someone tries to remove them.

They are cheap from the dealer, I think $0.35/each. But, if you decide to replace the missing clips up top on your flare, you'll have to remove your flare, which means breaking all the clips. So, your choice...

 

Dadic. my bad you're absolutely right...I called it the wrong thing...good catch.

I will probably let it be for now. The only reason I even noticed is b/c you can see a bit more vibration on that side when driving. There is not a noticeable gap.
