    In the fall with with my parents apple orchard I usually have 1600lbs of apples plus the wood the crates are made of. My avatar pic will give you a glimpse. Also sometimes while pulling a 2200lb trailer with 2 loaded bins (1200lbs plus per bin). Truck pulls it, just slow from a dead stop. I DO USE A TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER. Also I drive slower too. Example 55mph road I'll do 45mph.
