What does the skid plate that comes with the off road package look like.....is it stainless...photos would be awesome

Yep. Glorified tin foil. They're ok for small rock dings but won't stand up to hard wheeling.

Thanks for the info, I wondered why guys upgraded to budbuilt and allpro but then again why would anyone need something that hardcore from the factory, it would be nice though!

It would be a nice factory option but you would probably pay out the ass for it.

That looks like the TRD accessory, which costs extra.

My skid for my Off Road package was just black.

There are 2 skid plates. There is the black engine skid plate that is included with the TRD package, and then there is the silver one that you can add on as an accessory.

Does it hurt anything to take the skidplate off and leave it off? I'm not going to be running off road anytime..

Maybe your aerodynamics a hair, but nothing you'd notice.

To the OP: If you want a skidplate that's really going to protect something, search the forums for Armortech Offroad.
