Ive had this 06 DC TRD/OR 2WD Automatic since May.

Always - when I first shift into D and gently accelarate I get a subtle grunt noise, as if were engaging into 4WD. (but it can't cuz it isn't 4wd). this occurs only before 2nd gear. (coming from under car in front, right side, in front of dash area)

    Is this a common noise?

    Additionally -

I have more of a moaning sound from my drivetrain upon acceleration thru all gears. More so when gently accelerating. Less with a heavier foot. Seems to be torque converter related?

    Any insight would be appreciated!
