I had the 1995.5 Tacoma for 14 years. Sold it at 265,000 with ZERO problems. Ran like new...now I have the 2005 (another first year) and have 123K miles on it and runs like brand new. I've also had 35's and a 6" lift for 80K miles with zero problems as well. I also have a 2007 with a 6" lift/33's as well with 55K miles with zero problems as well. Idk, maybe im blessed or take good care of my stuf but I am a happy camper with my products so far

So other than a few new whistles and bells, the quality is the same, right?
