I have a 2010 D/C shortbed Sport. This last week I was rearended. So after getting a repair quote by two shops. I asked if I could get a Crome bumper instead of getting a painted one. Both repair personsonal said, "it did't come Crome that year".
I understand that the Sport only come painted. I don't want to have a chance of having a mismatched paint job. I know they can do a very job now days. But , how about long term? So, i"m asking, I'm I wrong for wanting a Crome bumper?

You are most likely the only person on this forum that would prefer a chrome bumper over painted. In mine, and most others' opinions, the painted looks much better. I also dont think you have anything to worry about regarding the paint job, as long as the shop is even halfway decent. The bumper comes ready to paint.
