I have a reg cab 4x4 2.7L and I'm looking for a short shift because I think the throw of the stock one is just too long when it comes down to it. I found this URD short shifter for a decent price anyone find anything cheaper out there? I don't want to lose the qualty either so I should say any found something out there more efficeint out there? Thanks, Ryan

I recently bought a 2005 2.7 4x4 access cab, and i feel the same way about the throw. It seems there has to be a better shifter to reduce that and make the shifting smoother.

I will be paying attention for some input also...

I've been waiting for the URD GB to start here. They are amazing compared to stock. There's a thread somewhere here that has before and after photos of the difference in shift length. And its a pretty big difference. I'll try to find the link.
