I remember when I put HIDs in my truck, on one of the headlamps, the little wire bracket retainer that keeps the bulb in the lamp didnt fit too well.

You have to push it in and swing it out of the arm that grabs it in order for it to spring open to remove the bulb.

Well it was as if the hook on the very end of the wire wasnt bent right cause it was a pain to get it to finally come out and i had to force it back after i switched them.

Fast forward to when I removed the HIDs, the same light... i had to wrestle with that retaining clip to get it to unhook, and in doing so, I bent it some. Now it wont put enough pressure on the bulb to keep it nice and tight against the backing... it only puts pressure on half on the bottom half.

Are these replaceable... or is it a one piece type deal headlight and all? I did all this wit the headlights still on the truck (i knew i should have removed them but didnt know how exactly) and therfore i didnt get a good look at the back of this to tell if its separate or all one piece?

    Any ideas?

Any chance you can bend it back to how it was?
